Why is Old Forge Pizza shaped like a rectangle?  Some say it’s intentionally shaped this way, in the Southern Italian style. Others say it’s accidental because the coalmining immigrants couldn’t afford round pizza trays and instead used the rectangular baking sheets readily available in most home kitchens. Whatever the case, Old Forge Pizza is pure genius and its rectangular shape unmistakable.
